Installation of the Norwich City College Greenhouse
The installation included a substantial box gutter with heavy duty support columns and easy access with 4 sliding double doors. Ample ventilation is provided with 6 low level 11 blade louvred vents and 42 roof vents with automatic vent openers. The 10mm twinwall polycarbonate glazing provides better insulation than glass, an important factor for a greenhouse which requires heating during the winter. It is not just the plants that need warmth. The greenhouse is regularly used as a classroom. We also supplied the heavy duty staging. The strong construction features cross bracing for rigidity and substantial bar capping to retain the glazing. The installation took 2 expert fitters 2 weeks to complete.
