HIGHER SPECIFICATIONS: These competitively priced corner summerhouses feature higher specifications than other summerhouses at similar prices. Quality features include morticed and tenoned joinery windows, 12mm finished thickness tongued and grooved floor boards and 33mm x 33mm finished thickness planed framing. Most other budget price summerhouses include man made OSB floors just 7mm thick, framing only 25mm x 25mm or 1" x 1" and styrene glazing less than 2mm thick.
PLANED SHIPLAP CLADDING: These summerhouses feature smooth planed fully interlocking tongued and grooved shiplap wall cladding. This design ensures that rainwater drains faster and the timber dries quicker, which ensures a longer life for your summerhouse. Our shiplap is fully tongued and grooved which is stronger than the half lap shiplap or rebated shiplap used by some others.
CORNER BUILDING SIZES: For ease of reference these corner summerhouses are measured as a square based on the width of the two longest walls. The external wall sizes are listed alongside the price. These sizes do not include the roof overhang. Many other suppliers quote the overall roof size which is much larger.
- Recycled plastic base kits
- A selection of microporous wood preservatives in a wide choice of colours
RECYCLED PLASTIC BASE KITS: Designed to spread weight and quickly clipped together, each paver is 500mm x 500mm. These durable and eco friendly plastic pavers are made from 100% recycled polypropylene. Lightweight and easy to install, the finished base will outlast any summerhouse. Extensive preparation is not normally required - just level the soil and lay the pavers directly on the soil. No sand or shingle is required. Weed membranes are not needed below timber floors. Unlike paving or concrete these bases are self draining and fully relocatable. Our standard pavers support 150 tonnes per square metre. They are suitable for any normal use and they can be laid on a soil or shingle sub-base. Our heavier duty pavers support 350 tonnes per square metre. They can be laid on any flat surface including concrete. Where space permits the base is normally laid full size but if required in a tight location the pavers can be easily cut to size with no loss of structural integrity. These heavy duty pavers are only available when you purchase a Summer garden building. Fast delivery within 3-5 days ensures that you can start work quickly.
MICROPOROUS PRESERVATIVE - DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR: Our quality microporous preservatives are impervious to water but not to water vapour. This allows the wood to breathe. You can order up to 3 separate colours if required. At least two coats are normally required with a further coat at periodic intervals.
Our 3 star preservative is practical and affordable with a choice of 4 colours. It covers around 10 square metres per litre and normally lasts 1-2 years before a further coat is required.
Our 4 star preservative is a high quality preservative which covers around 9 square metres per litre and normally lasts 2-5 years before a further coat is requred. It is available with a choice of 12 colours.
Our 5 star preservative is a deluxe high build preservative which can be used to achieve a stunning finish. Each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. It covers around 8 square metres per litre and normally lasts 2-5 years before a further coat is required. It is available with a choice of 12 colours.
Based on average coverage five litres of our 4 star preservative is enough for two coats on an 8'x10' shed or an 8'x8' log cabin. Ten litres is enough for three coats on a 10'x16' shed or a 12'x10' log cabin. Coverage varies according to the smoothness of the surface and the porosity of the timber. We recommend that you order more than you need to be sure that you have easily enough. All of these preservatives are safe for use with children and pets. These microporous preservatives are only available when you purchase a Summer garden building or if you purchased a Summer building in the past. Prices include free mainland delivery to England, Wales and southern Scotland. Colours are only as accurate as reproductive techniques allow.
WATERPROOF CLEAR SEAL - DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR: Our hardwearing clear seal is ideal as a clear varnish for bare timber or as a waterproof top coat for painted wood and pressure treated timber. It is also ideal as a waterproof floor varnish, especially the polyurethane clear seal. The smooth and shiny finished surface is waterproof and easy to clean. Available in a choice of acrylic or polyurethane, these colourless water based coatings are almost odourless and recommended for smooth planed timber only. One coat is normally required as a sealing top coat on painted or treated timber. A minimum of two coats are normally required on untreated wood. Up to three coats may be required for floors. An unsealed timber floor quickly shows muddy boot marks and other dirt. For best results a floor should be treated at the earliest opportunity while the timber is new and clean. On average five litres of our 5 star clear seal is enough for three coats on a 12'x12' floor, two coats on the walls of an 8'x8' log cabin or one coat on the walls of a 12'x16' log cabin. We recommend that you order more than you need to be sure that you have easily enough. The price includes free mainland delivery to England, Wales and southern Scotland.
BURGLAR ALARM: This simple and effective battery operated burglar alarm kit is easy to install in any wooden garden building. The main panel features a digital keypad and a powerful built-in siren. Two pre-wired door contacts are also included complete with a length of cable which plugs into the main panel. A 9 volt PP3 alkaline battery is required, which is not supplied with the kit. The alarm is easy to set using the digital keypad. A delay allows plenty of time to enter or leave the building after setting the alarm. Once the alarm has been armed it will be triggered by opening the door or tampering with the wiring. When the alarm is activated the siren emits a powerful and unpleasant sound to deter intruders.

We received our summerhouse a few weeks ago and thought we would give some feedback.
We are basically very pleased with it and are enclosing a photo. The instructions were clear and it looks lovely.
Just a couple of problems. One if the rear panels seemed completely wrong. We definitely had it the right way up but nothing seemed to match up with the adjoining one. The slats also extended over the edge of the baton meaning that we couldn't butt it up next to the panel. We had to saw off the overhanging bits of wood which was not easy. Anyway it eventually fitted in and screwed together so got over that problem.
The other thing we should mention is the glazing. After breaking several pieces of glass trying to knock the tiny nails into the beading between the glass and the wood, we were getting quite annoyed. It also looked bad as the nails were splitting the wood. Then we had a brainwave. We stuck all the beading on with no more nails.....and got a wonderful neat finish with no more broken panes. Maybe this would be a better way of fitting the beading.
Anyway....we are very pleased and it is a superb product for the cost. It looks good and is a really lovely addition to the garden.

I recently purchased from your Company a summerhouse which I find to be excellent. The delivery was on time and was very carefully unloaded by your driver.
The quality of the woodwork of your product was perfect and we assembled it this weekend and very impressed with the finished result.
Thanking you to all your staff for their efficiency in the adminstration department.

We took delivery of our 7 x 7 corner summerhouse on 1 May. We were very happy with your delivery service. Although you stated the building would take 14-21 days to arrive, it was delivered less than a week after ordering and we were kept informed throughout.
We found your instruction leaflet very easy to follow and the erection of the building went reasonably well. We were however, very disappointed with the quality of the window and door hinges which had no strength in them whatsoever. In addition, the door handle instructions were incorrect as they said to drill an 8mm hole to put the bar through but in actual fact the hole required was 12mm. The screws sent to fix the handle to the door were also too long for the thickness of the door and we had to go out and purchase our own.
Our other complaint was the quality of the window beading which was extremely poor, being of different thicknesses causing some to be proud of the door, most pieces were starting to split and some pieces weren't even long enough meaning there were slight gaps in some of the corners of the windows.
We do however, appreciate that this was not an expensive product and indeed, we would not have been happy if it had been more expensive. On the whole, we are happy with it, especially now that it has been painted in a bright colour.

Just completed my summerhouse. All parts were there and arrived undamaged. I live in Scotland in a small village and my house is at the end of a cul-de-sac with the road some distance from the road, but the delivery guys brought everything from the truck for me. It was delivered on time and with excellent service. Thank you.

Overall I'm pleased with the summer house. There were a few issues with the wood quality and the floor needed reinforcing. Fitting the roof was abit challenging, but got there in the end. I'd like to thank Jo for her excellent customer service in responding to my request for a new door as the original was warped. Overall as i said i am pleased with the product and feel it is good value for money. I trust you appreciate the feedback.

we recently purchased one of your summerhouses and are extremely pleased with it. We have painted it a lovely country cream by cuprinol and it looks lovely. We would like to send you photographs and are sure you would sell even more if people could see it in this colour. If you would consider paying a fee we would gladly send you copies, it really does look lovely especially with the crazy pave step up to it.

We recently bought a 8' x 8' Corner Summerhouse from you and wanted to let you know how delighted we are with the kit. We feel that the summerhouse is excellent value for money and we are particularly impressed with the quality of the finish for a summerhouse in this price bracket. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone in our area. Now almost complete, the summerhouse has been admired by our neighbours on all sides.
We have only to add the door latch/handle now but unfortunately we have lost the appropriate page of the instructions! I would be very grateful if you could either e-mail us the relelvant part of the instructions or even send us a photocopy by post just to allow us to complete the latch assembly?
With many thanks,

Thank you for sending me my order confirmation by royal mail. Someone must have put in some extra work on our behalf, and I'll apologise for making that necessary. I thought it unusual that I was not requested to enter an email address, but I just missed that input; I wasn't trying to be awkward or make a point etc.
We saw a similar product in a local showroom, but your's looks just as nice, and much better value for money; so we are looking forward to receiving it next month.
Thank you again for your service.
