FREE PAINT TREATMENT: This gazebo includes a free colour painted finish. The floor and roof feature pressure treated timber that has been impregnated with preservative containing a built-in brown colour. The walls and corner posts are painted white. The factory finish is similar to primer although a top coat is not normally needed. Over time the colour will gradually fade. If required the colour can be refreshed with another coat. Colours are only as accurate as reproductive techniques allow.

PRESSURE TREATED TIMBER: Pressure treatment is a lifetime preservative treatment. The preservative is forced into the timber under pressure in a vacuum and penetrates below the surface. All other treatments apply a coat of stain to the surface of the timber only. With pressure impregnated timber, the chemicals are permanently fixed in the wood. Tanalith E is the most popular preservative used so pressure treated wood is often described as tanalised. No further preservative treatment is ever needed.

HEXAGONAL BUILDING SIZES: For ease of reference these hexagonal gazebos are measured as a rectangle. The first dimension listed is the overall width from side to side and the second dimension is the depth from front to back. The overall width is measured at the widest point from corner to corner. The depth is measured at the narrowest point from wall centre to wall centre. The external wall sizes are listed alongside the price. These sizes do not include the roof overhang. Many other suppliers quote the overall roof size which is much larger.
