Lean to greenhouse - tips to save height
The greenhouse cill features a lip which is designed to overhang the edges of the base for drainage purposes. The cill also doubles as a sliding door guide. At sites where height is restricted the base or plinth can be partially buried in the ground with as little as 12mm above the surrounding ground. The aluminium base plinth is prefabricated to the correct size. Alternative bases whether concrete, slabs or brick must be made to exactly the same external dimensions as the prefabricated base plinth and no larger.
