DELIVERY - accurate advice updated daily

  • Delivery is normally between 2 and 4 weeks after order.
  • Our garden shed prices include all delivery charges - unlike others we do not add delivery charges during the checkout process.

SPECIALIST DELIVERY SERVICE:- These garden sheds are normally delivered by the fitters in dedicated vehicles. This ensures less damage and no delay between delivery and fitting. Most cheaper garden sheds are delivered by national carriers who normally deliver to the kerbside only. Carriers cause more damage and normally refuse to carry glass or large panels. Their prices are based on weight and panel sizes. As a result, garden sheds delivered by outside carriers are made in small and flimsy lightweight sections with less wood. The benefits of our specialist delivery service include less damage, larger more rigid panels and heavier construction.

QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: A feature of these quality sheds is the door frame with vertical, horizontal and diagonal framing. The windows are glazed with glass fitted with glazing beads. Many sheds at similar prices include thin styrene glazing crudely retained with glazing pins, which provides little security or weather protection. Another feature is the substantial 2” thick framing spaced close together, which ensures a more robust and durable building.

LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. The sizes quoted do not include the verandah. All sizes quoted are the external shed sizes unless stated otherwise.

OPTIONS - the options you can add to your basket

  • Choice of pressure treated timber (lifetime preservative treatment) or timber treated by total immersion in a high quality preservative
  • Choice of door hinges on the left or right (viewed from outside)
  • 30" deep open front verandah with decking to floor and balustrade to each side
  • Larger 48" deep enclosed verandah with decking to floor and balustrade to the sides and front
  • Pressure treated 3" x 3" floor bearers (lifetime preservative treatment)
  • Cedar slatted roof fitted on top of a felted solid pine inner roof
  • Decorative green, red or brown mineral felt tiles
  • Toughened glass to BS6206 Class A
  • Stable door
  • Heavy duty wooden shelf units
  • Wooden shelves
  • Internal partitions
  • This shed can be made in smaller sections if access is restricted

FLOOR BEARERS: Bearers are substantial pressure treated beams under the floor, which will prolong the life of your shed. The bearers are the only part of the shed which is in contact with the ground and they are pressure treated for longer life. The bearers also raise the floor above the ground. This allows air to circulate under the floor to reduce dampness and also reduces saturation of the lower cladding boards.

CEDAR SLATTED ROOF: Attractive and durable cedar slatted roof fitted on top of a felted solid pine inner roof. Cedar slatted roofs are manufactured using smooth planed Western Red cedar boards. Cedar is a naturally resilient timber which lasts longer than pine and other softwoods even if never treated from new. Western Red Cedar is a sustainable resource from North America.

DECORATIVE FELT TILES: Mineral coated bitumen felt tiles are an attractive and durable roofing material which is far more hardwearing than standard roofing felt. Traditionally used for small buildings only in the UK, most felt tiles are made in Scandinavia where they are used widely in housebuilding.

RESTRICTED ACCESS: A quality feature of these sheds is that they are made in large rigid panels. If access is restricted, your shed can be specially made in smaller sections designed to pass through a normal single door. The smaller sections are designed to be at least as strong as the larger panels normally supplied. There is a charge for this option and notice is required with the order. For more details see "Other options".
